One Year Later

One year ago today Eric asked me to marry him as he knelt down in the sand on Memorial Day weekend. It is unbelievable that only 365 days have passed by since that moment because it feels like I can't remember our relationship before being engaged (except Eric still can't seem to stop calling me his "girlfriend," but hey we'll get there). It would be impossible to not acknowledge our incredible friends who worked all day to make the moment perfect. Of course, that doesn't mean there weren't mishaps (missed trains, setting up on North 1st instead of South 1st street, starting at "E time," lost sunglasses, high blood pressure, the boys proposing to Eric while Ryan was in the bathroom, etc.) but the day was still perfect to me, and I know it wouldn't have been possible without them. All day long they documented moments with short videos, then the wonderful Martin Gallagher IV compiled a video for us to have and look back on each year forever. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of behind the scenes that went into our perfect day.
